The County of Sonoma and SCLEMA representatives met on July 26, 2019 for the parties’ sixth bargaining session and reached a comprehensive tentative agreement on a four year successor contract. Core elements of the agreement provide for cost of living and salary adjustments, modifications to incentive pays, increases to the County’s contribution for medical premiums, formation of a retirement benefits committee, and clean up and clarification of non-economic areas of the contract. The tentative agreement will be submitted to the bargaining team for ratification the week of July 29 and for Board adoption on August 13, 2019.
