Appendix D - Side Letter RE: Chief Welfare Fraud Investigator Vehicles
SIDE LETTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN
COUNTY of SONOMA
AND
THE SONOMA COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT MANAGERS ASSOCIATION (SCLEMA)
RE: CHIEF WELFARE FRAUD INVESTIGATOR VEHICLES
May 26, 2023
This side letter of agreement by and between the County of Sonoma ("County") and the Sonoma County Law Enforcement Managers Association ("Association"), hereinafter collectively called "the parties,” confirm that effective 120 days following adoption of the MOU by the Board of Supervisors the Chief Welfare Fraud Investigator is no longer authorized to retain sole possession of County issued vehicles. By the end of the 120-day period the Chief Welfare Fraud Investigator shall return their County-issued vehicle(s). Subsequent authorization for vehicle usage will be predicated on County of Sonoma Administrative Policy Manual Section 5-1 Vehicle Use Policy and any other relevant County-wide or departmental policy.
This side letter is subject to and will be in effect during the term of the successor MOU.
