Sonoma County Emergency Medical Services Exclusive Operating Agreement Request for Proposal Revisions, Item# 2022-0735
Published: August 05, 2022
On August 30, 2022, the Board of Supervisors will consider approval to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide Emergency Ground Ambulance Service in Sonoma County Exclusive Operating Area 1 (EOA-1). In November of 2021, the Board approved a substantially similar RFP which was released for consideration by interested proposers. In February 2022, the RFP was rescinded due to supply chain problems, labor shortages in the medical sector, and concern about the RFP timeline. The Board will consider the updated RFP which includes changes incorporated since February 2022 through feedback from stakeholder meetings and staff recommendations.
