Home energy efficiency and resiliency workshops announced
The Sonoma County Climate Action and Resiliency Division is pleased to announce an upcoming series of workshops entitled, "Your Energy Efficient and Resilient Home."
The free workshops, held at Sonoma County libraries, are intended to answer your questions about which home repairs or upgrades will have the biggest impact on your energy bills.
Scheduled workshops:
- Cloverdale Regional Library, Monday, October 9, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
- Roseland Regional Library, Wednesday, October 11, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (En español)
- Sonoma Valley Regional Library, Saturday, October 28, 2-3:30 p.m.
- Central Santa Rosa Library, Sunday, November 5, 3-4:30 p.m.
- Rohnert Park-Cotati Regional Library, Tuesday, November 14, 2-3:30 p.m.

2023 Fall Economic Perspective happens October 19
The 2023 Fall Economic Perspective will take place at Sonoma State University on October 19 from 7:30-9 a.m. This year’s event features a keynote address by Economist William Rodgers III, vice president and director of the Institute for Economic Equity at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, who will explore the barriers and opportunities for economic equity in Sonoma County.
The event is hosted by the Sonoma County Economic Development Board and will also honor this year’s recipients of the Economic Prosperity Awards for their work in support of the economic health of their communities.
