Penngrove Intersection Improvements

Background 

Intersections at Old Redwood Highway North/Ely Road and Old Redwood Highway North/Railroad Avenue have vehicular collision rates higher than that of the statewide average for four-legged stop-controlled intersections with rate of injury also reflecting similar, above-average percentages. 

Conclusion

Five potential alternatives were proposed to increase the safety of Old Redwood Highway North/Ely Road and two potential solutions were proposed to increase the safety of Old Redwood Highway North/Railroad Avenue. Estimated costs and timelines associated with each alternative were also submitted.
