Avelo Airlines Adds New Nonstop Service to Palm Springs from the North Bay Area

Avelo Airlines announced today new nonstop service to Palm Springs, California from the North Bay Area’s Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS). Avelo will fly this route twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays beginning on November 11.

Wohler Bridge over Russian River in Sonoma County to close April 1 for construction work

SANTA ROSA, CA – The Wohler Road Bridge seismic retrofit project is entering its second and final year of construction. As part of this critical safety upgrade, the bridge over the Russian River will be closed to the public from April 1 to Oct. 15. Work will include replacing steel elements on the 103-year-old bridge, deck demolition and replacement, and pier footing retrofit.
