Surveys on Four Grant-Seeking Projects
Take the Survey Today!
Below are four separate survey links on projects seeking grant funding for trails, bike lanes and roadway intersection improvement projects in four locations in Sonoma County.
- Lower Russian River Trail
- Petaluma Hill Road Bike Lane Project
- Adobe Road and Frates Road Intersection Improvement Project
- Calistoga Road and Porter Creek Road Intersection Improvement Project
Once completed, all four projects will provide a safe pathway for bicyclists and pedestrians, separated from vehicle traffic. Your input will help us strengthen the funding application and shape this next phase of development for these four important road improvement projects. To view maps of the four sites and to leave general public comments, please visit the 2025 SCTA Grant Application Projects website.
Lower Russian River Trail
A new Class I shared‑use path is proposed along River Road between Mirabel Road and Scenic Drive. The trail will give people a safe place to walk and bike separated from traffic.
Petaluma Hill Road Bike Lane Project
Buffered Class II bike lanes and a pavement surface treatment are proposed on Petaluma Hill Road between the Santa Rosa city limits and East Cotati Avenue, improving comfort and extending pavement life.
Adobe Road and Frates Road Intersection Improvement Project
Two options are under study at the Adobe Road–Frates Road intersection: a single‑lane roundabout or a new traffic signal with turn lanes, both designed to improve safety and reduce delay.
Calistoga Road and Porter Creek Road Intersection Improvement Project
The project considers either a single‑lane roundabout or a new traffic signal at Calistoga Road and Porter Creek Road to enhance safety and traffic flow.
