4th District Commissioner Laura (Izzy) Arreguin

Laura Isabel Arreguin, a bicultural individual with a deep understanding of both Mexico and the USA, was born in Santa Rosa, CA. She spent her childhood life moving between the two countries, shaping her unique perspective. Laura is a wife and a very proud mother of her two children, Bryanna and Jayden. Family time is precious to her, and she actively seeks opportunities to give back to her community. With a rich background in the nonprofit sector, Laura has held various impactful roles. She has served as a Program Coordinator and Family Advocate at the Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County, Manager of Community Engagement and Strategic Partnerships at Corazon Healdsburg, Manager of Job Development at Goodwill, Bilingual Community Liaison at the Wright School District and currently she holds the position as Director of Community Engagement for La Familia Sana. Laura is a Healdsburg High School graduate, holds a Diploma in Administration from Empire College, and earned several certificates over the years. Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Leadership and Management at the University of Phoenix, she is dedicated to furthering her education and skills. Inspired by her father's teachings, mother's love, Laura is passionate about advocating for empowering those in need within her community. She firmly believes in the importance of recognizing the differences between equality and equity in creating a more just society.
