Republic Services of Sonoma County, Inc. operates a large central landfill, located outside of Petaluma as well as four smaller transfer stations, located in Annapolis, Guerneville, Healdsburg, and Sonoma.

Reuse & Recycling Center

Republic Services also administers the Reuse & Recycling Center. Recyclables such as scrap metal, cardboard, glass, metal and plastic containers, and newspaper are accepted at the Central Landfill site, and all four transfer stations located in Annapolis, Guerneville, Healdsburg, and Sonoma.
