Now Available - FY2025-2026 Notice of Funding Availability

PLEASE NOTE: These funds are not available as direct assistance to individuals or households, and this notice is not related to the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program.
The Sonoma County Community Development Commission (Commission) will be accepting funding applications from eligible applicants for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG-CV), County Fund for Housing (CFH), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), Low- and Moderate-Income Housing Asset Fund (LMIHAF), and Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA). CDBG funds may be used for eligible capital projects, affordable housing, fair housing, and economic development activities. HOME funds may be used for affordable housing projects and tenant-based rental assistance. ESG and LMIHAF funds may be used for rapid rehousing and homelessness related supportive services, including homelessness prevention and outreach. CDBG-CV funds are only available to prepare, prevent, and/or respond to Coronavirus. PLHA funds are available for affordable rental and or ownership housing. CFH funds may be used for affordable rental and/or ownership housing as well as transitional and emergency housing.
These funds are available to eligible nonprofit organizations and governmental jurisdictions to support programs and activities that benefit lower-income households. All prospective applicants are required to attend a mandatory technical assistance workshop or meet with Commission staff to be eligible to apply.
