Driving Safety II
HRT-DST 2 Driver Training - 8 Hour, Level 2
THIS COURSE IS BY INVITATION ONLY. The SRJC Public Safety Training Center will provide an 8-hour (Small Vehicle) defensive driving course for Sonoma County employees who frequently drive on County business. The County Vehicle Use Policy requires employees who drive on County business to participate in defensive driver training. Frequent drivers are employees driving on average 3 days a week or 500 miles a month. This course includes both classroom and hands-on driving activities.
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: PRIORITY REGISTRATION is given to those who have not yet taken this course. If you have taken this training course in the past, please do not enroll in this course but choose the 4 Hour Driver Refresher course.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS: Each student needs to either have a County car for themselves or share with another student. If you do not have a County vehicle to use, please check out a Fleet vehicle (employee must call Fleet Operations at 565-2639 one week before class to reserve a car). After signing up for this course, you will receive an email requesting to pair up with another participant in the course. Please respond back as soon as possible. Otherwise, you will be paired automatically.
HRT-DST 2R Driver Training - 4 Hour Refresher, Level 2
