The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, passed 20 November 1989, in conjunction with the latest findings of the UN regarding the nexus of Domestic Violence and custody compels us to join in solidarity with the citizens of Sonoma County and explore and re-envision the community response to the gendered and intersectional issue of domestic violence, post separation abuse, and loss of child custody in Sonoma County. This ad hoc focuses on research and gathering data to advise the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors.
