Special breakfast event 2023 report on the Status of Women in Sonoma County
The Report draws on data from the Voices of Sonoma County Women 2021 research project and the September 2022 release of the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey (ACS) to paint a comprehensive picture of the post-pandemic experiences of women in our county. Our committee is currently focused on collaborating with community organizations to develop actionable insights and policy recommendations based on our data. We hope that the Report will empower local leaders to pursue equitable policy solutions for women in our community.

Ceasefire Letter
On February 22, 2024, the Sonoma County Commission on Human Rights voted unanimously to pass a ceasefire letter that reads the following: In light of the severe human rights violations occurring in Gaza, Palestine, and Israel, the Sonoma County Commission on Human Rights extends this appeal to all parties involved and affected community members. Acknowledging that the impact of armed conflict reverberates through generations, we understand that healing begins with a collective commitment to ending violence in all its forms.
