Sonoma County Website is Moving to a New Address

In July 2025, we will be updating the official Sonoma County website to a new, more secure domain:

Current Address: https://sonomacounty.ca.gov

New Address: https://sonomacounty.gov

Why the Change?

This transition to a .gov domain enhances security, public trust, and compliance with updated regulations. The .gov suffix is exclusively reserved for government agencies, ensuring that all official communications are authentic and protected from impersonation.

In addition, we will be updating all County employee email addresses to the new, more secure domain:

Old: firstname.lastname@sonoma-county.org

New: firstname.lastname@sonomacounty.gov
