Sonoma County opens Fort Ross community support center to serve residents impacted by storms
SANTA ROSA, CA | January 07, 2023
Sonoma County opened a community support center at Fort Ross today to serve residents who have been impacted by the winter storms. The center, which is staffed by county officials, is located at Fort Ross State Historic Park, 19005 Coast Highway, in Jenner.
Community support centers offer charging stations for electronics and comfort kits with blankets, snacks and water. The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
For those in need of shelter, the county’s emergency shelter is located in the E.C. Kraft Building at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, with capacity for 60 people.
