Road Update - April 18, 2016

The Healdsburg road crew will begin work this week by clearing slides and cleaning drainage ditches along Porter Creek Road, from the Mark West Lodge to the Calistoga Road/Petrified Forest Road intersection. One lane traffic controls will be in place from 7:30 am to 4 pm daily, Monday through Thursday. This is a heavy daily commute route, so traffic delays up to 15 minutes can be expected during work hours.  

The Bridge crew will begin a viaduct replacement project today on Summerhome Park Road, near Madrona Road. Notification has been posted since early last week, advising residents of delays resulting from this project. The road will be narrowed to one lane during work hours, which are expected to be 7:30 am to 4 pm daily. The duration of this project is estimated to be six weeks. One lane traffic controls will be in place with minor delays expected during work hours.

 The Culvert crew will be replacing a culvert on Hot Springs Road in Cloverdale this week. Minor traffic delays can be expected between 8 am and 4 pm daily.

Road maintenance crews will be doing roadside mowing along Martinelli Road and Occidental Road this week, in addition to filling potholes throughout the county. In Sonoma, crews will be asphalt patching and shoulder backing on Toy Ln.  Traffic crews will be doing sign maintenance throughout the county.

 Cal Fire crews will be assisting road crews with roadside brush and vegetation work on Tuesday and Wednesday along Stewarts Point Skaggs Springs Road and on Occidental Road between High School Road and Mill Station Road.
