Public Notice: Solid Waste Management Program Local Enforcement Agency (LEA)
The Sonoma County Environmental Health Section, Solid Waste Program, acting as the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) is certified by the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) to enforce state laws and regulations at solid waste sites within its jurisdiction. The Guerneville Transfer Station operates under a Solid Waste Facility Permit issued by the LEA. Read full story

What’s the latest on Homelessness in Sonoma County? A Community Webinar (Webinar #1)
You are invited to participate in a public forum on homelessness. This forum will feature Michael Gause, Ending Homelessness Program Manager for the Sonoma County Department of Health Services, and Dennis Pocekay, Continuum of Care Board Chair and Petaluma City Council Member.
