The changes reflect clarifying language and updates regarding the radius distance surrounding a groundwater test hole, the number of test holes required for a proposed septic system and depths of test holes based on site conditions such as impermeable layers. Sonoma County Civil Service Commission Vacancy

Applications are currently being accepted to fill a vacant seat on the County of Sonoma Civil Service Commission. The Commission is a nonpartisan public body responsible for oversight of the County’s personnel system. This system is used for the selection, promotion, and retention of classified employees in Sonoma County civil service, as governed by the County’s Civil Service Ordinance, to assure the best-qualified persons available are hired into County employment. Sonoma County Homeless Point in Time (PIT) Count 2024 Volunteer Registration Now Open! January 26th!

Friday, January 26th, 2024, is the Sonoma County Homeless Point-in-Time (PIT) Street Count for all populations of persons experiencing homelessness! We will have 5 regional deployment sites located in North County, West County, Sonoma Valley, Petaluma, and Santa Rosa; locations will be announced at a later date.
