Road Work Update
Crews are potholing, trimming brush, preparing bridge decks at Odd Fellows' summer crossing, resurfacing, stenciling, repairing culverts and signs. Repairs on Hot Springs Road will begin later this week and the road is expected to open in early June. Construction activities for the Hauser Bridge Replacement are underway. Read full story

Sonoma County Regional Parks is developing a master plan for future recreation opportunities and environmental protections for North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park and Open Space Preserve. The plan will serve as a guide for the park and preserve’s management and will consider the potential for additional public access, including a trail to the mountain peak. Read full story

Agenda Item of Interest: April 11 JPA for the Sonoma County Waste Management Agency
The Sonoma County Waste Management Agency, a governmentagency which handles green waste and wood waste composting, household hazardouswaste collection and disposal, solid waste education, and solid waste planning,is set to expire on February 11, 2018. An agreement to continue theprograms of this agency has been drafted and must be approved by all members,including the County of Sonoma, to become effective. The recommendedaction by the Board of Supervisors is to approve and authorize the Chair toexecute the proposed Amended and Restated Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement(JPA) for the Sonoma County Waste Management Agency.
