Early Notice and Public Review of a Proposed Activity in a 100-Year Floodplain
This is to give notice that Sonoma County (County), California, pursuant to 24 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 58, has determined that the following proposed Project under consideration is located within a 100-year floodplain, and that the County will be identifying and evaluating practicable alternatives to locating the action in the floodplain and the potential impacts on the floodplain from the proposed action, as required by Executive Order 11988, in accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations at 24 CFR 55.20 Subpart C. The Commission will be identifying and evaluating practicable alternatives to locating the action in the floodplain, as well as potential impacts on the floodplain from the proposed action. This is required by Executive Order 11988, in accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations at 24 CFR 55.20 Subpart C Procedures for Making Determinations on Floodplain Management. FY 2024 CoC Renewal Evaluations: Rating & Ranking Process for the Continuum of Care Competition (Materials due May 01, 2024)
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires that local CoC’s prioritize all renewal and new projects submitted in our consolidated application for the CoC Program. As in previous years, CoC staff will work on the evaluation of existing projects, also called “renewal” projects, prior to the release of HUD’s Continuum of Care Program Notice of Funding Opportunity.
