HOME ARP Substantial Amendment and Hearing Notice

The Sonoma County Community Development Commission (Commission) proposes to amend the Sonoma County FY 2021-22 Annual Action Plan by modifying the Sonoma County HOME- ARP Allocation Plan (Allocation Plan). The Allocation Plan was adopted by the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors on March 14, 2023, and is a requirement of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the use of $2,991,512 of federal HOME-ARP grant funds. Like the State of California, though not to the same extreme, the county is working with far more limited resources this upcoming Fiscal Year than recent years prior. Notice of Intent to Request Release of Funds

On or about May 24, 2024 the Sonoma County Community Development Commission (SCCDC) will submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the release of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) as authorized by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Title 1 (42 U.S.C. 5301 et seq.), to undertake a project known as L and M Village Parking Lot Rehabilitation proposed by the City of Healdsburg for the purpose of repaving the parking lot of an existing transitional housing site located at 70 Healdsburg Avenue, Healdsburg, CA 95448 with estimated funding of $200,000 of CDBG funds.
