Voting Accessibility Advisory Committee (VAAC)
The Voting Accessibility Advisory Committee (VAAC) advises and assists the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Office on how best to implement federal and state laws regarding access to the electoral process for voters with disabilities. It also also provides recommendations identifying and prioritizing activities, programs, and policies to ensure every voter has equal access to the ballot.
The VAAC holds meetings approximately every three months. Anybody from the public is welcome to attend the meetings! You don't have to be a formal member of the committee!
